They just kicked off the Gusto Impact Awards which aims to celebrate, support, and honor small businesses that are driving positive change in their local communities.
What are the prizes?
With prizes totaling over $225,000, that includes:
🏆 $10,000 cash: Grow your business any way you see fit.
🏆 A $50,000 advertising grant: Gusto’s creative team will help design and place an advertisement around Atlanta (and online) to spotlight your business.
🏆 Free payroll services for 1 year: Your next 12-month subscription is on Gusto. That’s payroll, benefits, HR, and more—all in one powerful place.
🏆 Awards celebration: Gusto will be hosting a party to announce the winners and recognize your business.
🎁 Gusto will also give $500 Visa gift cards to 30 small businesses making a difference in Atlanta.
How to enter?
Entering the Gusto Impact Awards is simple. Eligible businesses with no more than 75 employees, an active website, and annual revenue of no more than $7 million can fill out a short form describing their business and its mission. In 300 words or fewer, applicants are invited to explain the impact their business has on their local community and how winning would further support their goals and initiatives.
And take note, you do not need to be a Gusto customer to enter, but they’d love to work with you if you’re not yet!
How are the winners selected?
All entries will be considered by a panel of sponsor-selected judges, of which, our CEO and founder Marguerite Pressley Davis is one of those.
They will weight each submission based on the following:
✅ Overview of business and its purpose, strength of story
✅ Community Impact
✅ Impact on winning on business, team, and community
